Who we are
Jugloid is developed by Charles Simpson (trading as Charlie Dancey), an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of data protection law, Charles Simpson is the data controller for the personal data described below.

What this policy covers
This policy applies to Jugloid Lite and Jugloid Pro (together, "Jugloid" or "the app"), available on iOS and other platforms. It explains what data the app collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
Data we collect
Jugloid is built to collect as little personal data as possible. It uses two services:

Jugloid does not contain advertising, and does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or profiling software. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data.
Children's privacy
Jugloid is a juggling game suitable for a general, family-friendly audience, including children. We do not knowingly collect more data from a child than from any other player, and the same minimal-collection approach above applies equally: no advertising, no tracking or profiling, and no behavioural data collection of any kind.
The optional leaderboard display name is the only information a player enters directly. We ask that players (or a parent/guardian on their behalf) avoid using a real full name as the display name. A parent or guardian who wants a child's display name and scores removed can contact us at privacy@jugloid.com and we will delete that data promptly.
How long we keep data
Leaderboard entries and achievement data are kept for as long as the leaderboard service operates, so that scores remain visible to other players. Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat and Apple for as long as required to support purchase restoration and for standard accounting/legal purposes. You can request deletion of your leaderboard data at any time (see below).
Where data is stored
Leaderboard and achievement data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. Purchase data is processed by RevenueCat and Apple. Depending on the region you play in, this may involve your data being processed on servers outside the UK/EEA; where that happens, those providers are responsible for ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about your leaderboard entry or purchases
- Ask us to correct or delete that data
- Object to or restrict how it's processed
- Ask for a copy of it in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@jugloid.com. If you're in the UK and unhappy with our response, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
If we change what data Jugloid collects or how it's used, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
